Abstract Nouns
I've been trying to make all of my titles abstract nouns.. It's very enjoyable. Like instability for my rocking chair and loneliness for my poor little flower with no friends.. but I'm running out of ideas! So if you want to help me out leave a comment saying your favorite abstract noun kay? kay.

Assignment #3 High Key/Low Key

I learned quite a bit from this assignment. I absolutely loved it! My images are not my favorite, and obviously they looked way way better in my head. But I am satisfied. I liked my classmates' work much better, but I had fun working with the whitest whites, and the blackest blacks. I learned that procrastination = bad. Never doing that again. Sweet, soft, natural light is a treasure, and I will from this day forward to work hard to capture it. I found this assignment very interesting. Bracketing is crucial. Images that weren't in focus were saved because I bracketed. Also my tripod helped the focus issue as well. Photoshop is my hero. I love all of these tools! Though I enjoy looking at lowkey photographs, I can't get over the cleanliness and clarity of highkey. Lack of light made me cry, the ability of photoshop to fix EVERYTHING made me laugh and smile, my ability to procrastinate made me smirk, I'm not emotional enough to bawl, and swearing and cussing is against my religion.

Red Red Rose
Beauty and the Beast anyone????

Dreadfully overexposed.. but I think it's kind of pretty the way it is :)

Dreadfully underexposed.. not that great.

Perfection!! Not really.. but greatest out of my bracketing.
I learned a lot about bracketing today. I discovered that my eyes are very very talented and are simply incredible in seeing detail in comparison to my $130 camera :) but it's okay, because we're going to "cheat" the dynamic range and make it grrrrrrreat. like frosted flakes.
